Because of the growing wind industry and many new projects, Muehlhan Wind Service is looking for a Business Controller who can support our Business Units as well as being responsible for controlling some of our subsidiaries and branch offices.

As our Business Controller, you will be part of our global controller team in Finance. You will be in close dialogue and have interactions with several stakeholders and project managers both in Denmark and abroad.

You will work from our head office in Fredericia, where you will report to Head of Controlling.

Responsibilities

As our new Business Controller, you will be responsible for controlling projects as well as subsidiaries and branch offices:

  • Monthly reporting for business units, including analysis of revenue, expenses, and cash flows
  • Business support, providing financial guidance and analysis to project managers and other stakeholders
  • Controlling of projects, including budget preparation, follow-up, and cost analysis
  • Preparation of budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Participation in monthly and annual accounts, including cost analysis and reporting
  • Development and reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Continuous optimization of finance workflows and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Competencies

The Business Controller is expected to: 

  • Have a relevant theoretical background with at least 5 years of experience, preferably from a growth and project organisation
  • Be familiar with and have experience in the use of the usual IT tools within the Office package and be able to learn new systems. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
  • Fluency in English is required
